Gift Aid

A final word on gift aid, just to emphasise its importance. Anyone who makes a donation to the Hospice who pays UK income tax can “Gift Aid” the donation. It means the hospice can claim an extra 28% from the government, on top of the original donation, at no extra cost to you.

But we need the following details to claim the gift aid, simply being:
the donors name and home address
£ amount of donation
details of the donation (eg in memory of xxx)
a statement that the donor pays UK income tax and the date.
